My primary sources are two album covers of the leading figures in different pop music. The analysis of the differences in details would turn into the descriptions of different pop music. Then my secondary source would figure out the problem that the if the differences in performing style or expression of music impede or decelerate the globalizing project of Korean pop to the west market.
My secondary sources:
"Bringing K-pop to the West"
"Hallyu: Influence of Korean Popular Culture in Asia and Beyond"
"Have you ever seen the Rain? And who'll stop the Rain? : the globalizing project of Korean pop (K-pop)"
I will use one of above source to describe the Korean wave that emerges in recent years.
Then, my analysis would be divided into two parts. Because the Korean pop are evaluated in opposite views by American public and Ameican music critic. The reason is that these two kinds of people have different attitudes toward the unique performing style of K-pop.
One would discuss how the differences achieve the success in gathering popularity in public.
The other would focus on the reason why the performing style is not be recognized by professionals.

Le Zhang : Primary Source Summary

My subject is the different evaluations of popular music in different countries, especially the difference in Eastern and Western cultures.
The left picture is the album of a korean girls singing group whose music style is similar to that of America, as compared with other singers in their country. And the right picture is the album of the leading figures of American pop music, The Black Eyed Peas. What is the similarity between these two groups is not only the concept of these two photographs but also their music style. Even the songs of the korean group in this album are composed by the member of The Black Eyed Peas.
However, they have different way to perform the similar songs. Because the diverse deductions for the music, people are unlikely to classify their songs into one category. Also, some details on the pictures reveal the different focuses of pop music in different countries.
